	Thursday, November 30, 2006 Sienna Miller to Launch Fall 2007 Collection Actress and model Sienna Miller, 25, has joined hands with designer-sister Savannah Miller to launch an 80 piece ready-to-wear fashion collection called Twenty8Twelve by s.miller for fall 2007. Sienna and her sister were at London's Berkeley Hotel Wednesday to unveil the line, "I've always loved fashion, and Savannah got a First in design at Saint Martins,” she said. “We hadn't thought to pursue it together, but this just happened organically. And setting up a label with your sister is a lot of fun — there haven't been any fights yet. According to WWD the first collection will include denim, knitwear, tailored jackets, dresses and outerwear. The peculiar name for the collection is derived from Sienna's date of birth. She has deliberately kept her linkage to the collection subdued. "I'm not about to become a brand," she explained. "Because of my job, people are willing to invest in the business, but my sister's an incredible designer, and it's a great opportunity for me to work with her." According to new statistics, 1,000 tons of fur were imported into Britain last year and fur sales have risen 30 percent in two years. Celebrities including Keira Knightley, Nicole Richie and Kate Moss have all been recently photographed wearing fur, and designers like Jean-Paul Gaultier, Julien Macdonald and Alexander McQueen are still putting clothing made from real fur on the runways. World Entertainment News Network reported that McCartney told a newspaper, "There's nothing fashionable about a dead animal that has been cruelly killed just because some people think it looks cool to wear. "The continuing use of fur is still a real problem in the fashion industry and there is an issue with people out there assuming that fur trim is fake when most of it is real." Anderson's representative said the former "Baywatch" star filed for divorce last week, but would not comment on the reason or any particulars of the divorce. A publicist for Kid Rock, whose real name is Bob Ritchie, didn't immediately return messages left by The Associated Press on Monday. The relationship between Anderson, 39, and Ritchie, 35, has been a turbulent one since they became engaged in 2002. They broke up the following year, but later reunited and this summer embarked on a tour of wedding ceremonies. They were wed in late July near St. Tropez, France, and again at a courthouse in Beverly Hills, California, on August 3. They tied the knot a third time in an August 17 ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee. Earlier this month, Anderson's spokesman, Tracy Nguyen, confirmed that Anderson recently suffered a miscarriage. He was 81. The director died Monday night, Joshua Astrachan, a producer at Altman's Sandcastle 5 Productions in New York City, told The Associated Press. The cause of death wasn't disclosed. The death of Ana Carolina Reston, 21, follows growing criticism of the use of underweight models in the fashion world, an issue given new significance after the death in August of Uruguayan model Luisel Ramos of heart failure during a fashion show in Montevideo. Reston died Tuesday in a Sao Paulo hospital from a generalized infection caused by anorexia, an eating disorder in which sufferers obsessively deprive themselves of food in pursuit of an ultra-slim look. Reston weighed only 88 pounds and was about 5 feet 8 inches tall.
